1. About Root & Rise
Root & Rise provides holistic wellbeing, leadership development, coaching, spiritual guidance, Reiki, workshops, programmes, events, digital content, and related services for personal and professional development.
Our services are designed to support self-reflection, growth, awareness, and wellbeing. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic services.
2. Eligibility
By engaging with Root & Rise, you confirm that:

- You have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if under 18
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
3. Nature of Services
3.1 Non-Medical Services
Root & Rise services are complementary and holistic in nature. We do not:
- Diagnose medical or mental health conditions
- Provide medical, psychiatric, or psychotherapeutic treatment
- Replace advice or care from qualified healthcare professionals
You acknowledge that any information, guidance, or practices offered are educational and supportive only.
3.2 Personal Responsibility
You remain fully responsible for:
- Your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing
- Your decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from engagement with our services
We encourage you to seek appropriate professional support where needed.
4. Bookings and Payments
4.1 Booking
All sessions, programmes, events, and services must be booked in advance through our website or agreed channels.
4.2 Payment
- Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Prices are listed in GBP unless stated otherwise
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time, without affecting confirmed bookings
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
5.1 One-to-One Sessions
- Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance
- Late cancellations or non-attendance may be charged in full
5.2 Programmes, Workshops, and Events
- Refunds are not guaranteed once a programme or event has commenced
- Refund or transfer requests are considered at our discretion
- In exceptional circumstances, we may offer a credit rather than a refund
5.3 Our Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions, programmes, or events where necessary. In such cases, a refund or alternative will be offered.
6. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Any personal information shared during sessions or programmes will be handled in line with our Privacy Notice.
However, confidentiality may be broken where required by law, or where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others.
7. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Root & Rise, including:
- Written materials
- Programme frameworks
- Exercises, meditations, recordings, and resources
- Branding, logos, and website content
remains the intellectual property of Root & Rise unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
8. Conduct and Participation
We expect all participants to engage respectfully and responsibly. We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service
- Remove participants from programmes or events
where behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or contrary to the values of Root & Rise. No refunds will be provided in such circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Root & Rise is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services
- We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results
- Participation is undertaken entirely at your own risk
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We make no warranties or representations regarding:
- Accuracy or completeness of information provided
- Suitability of services for your individual circumstances
- Specific personal, professional, or spiritual outcomes
